Built Ford Tough
Alright, so the Raptors are entering what is probably the most favourable portion of their season. They play 8 of their next 10 against teams under .500 and 7 of the 10 at home (includng both games against above .500 teams). So predict how they will do over the next 10 games? Vs. Miami@ New YorkVs. Indiana@ IndianaVs. New JerseyVs. SacramentoVs. PhiladelphiaVs. Memphis@ New JerseyVs. Washington Back-to-backs The Memphis game is also the first game back from the All-Star game. Poe
They lose to Miami :glasses: Other than that, I'd say they lose their away game to New York and at home to Memphis, for all the rest I'd say are nearly sure victories. Doc
Worst 5-5.best, 8-2.
Check my Stats
I still think we are better than all of those teams including Memphis and Miami, we have to go 7-3. What will we go? Honestly we could go anywhere from 4-6 to 10-0. 7-3 is my hope though. Edited January 25, 2010 by travesy3
Check my Stats
So far we are 4-1. Our differential over the first half of this stretch is +8.5 in the 4 wins, which is a really solid number IMO. In this 10 game stretch, if you wanted to call any part of it difficult, it was the first half, now we only have one more back to back against trash teams. Our rest between games is 3 days off, 2 days off, 6 days off (ASW), 1 day off and no days off (back to back). So we are getting lots of rest in between these games against crappy teams. If we could go 4-1 in this stretch that would be great, that would allow us to lose to a really solid Grizz team, I would love to beat them though, payback for that choke job earlier in the season. So far so good though, 7-3 is still my hope, but 8-2 wouldn't be half bad either . Edited February 5, 2010 by travesy3
Doc
I feel like we drop theone againstthe Grizz and the Kings. But 7-3 is more than we can hope for.
BasX
The rest of the games are favorable, even the Memphis game. Only one road game in there and that's in New Jersey. We could go perfect, because after the All-Star game we should be fully healthy (maybe even with Reggie). We need to grab the next two though. Going into the break with a 29-23 record is nice. Also, Schedules til All-Star break for Miami, Charlotte and Chicago MiamiTonight - @ Cleveland - LSaturday - @ Chicago - LTuesday - V HoustonWednesday - @ Atlanta CharlotteSaturday - V New Orleans - LTuesday - V WashingtonWednesday - @ Minnesota ChicagoFriday - @ Atlanta - LSaturday - V Miami - WTuesday - @ IndianaWednesday - V Orlando Each team has at least 1 back-to-back. Nice advantage we have with a game Sunday and a game Wednesday. Edited February 7, 2010 by BasX
BasX
So I updated the other 3 team's schedules with how they did. Essentially, those games worked out as well as they could with the only win coming because two of the teams played each other. Now all three teams have a back-to-backs Tues and Wed. This shows if the Raptors can find a way to win the next two, the gap could be very nice, especially since we are 2.5 up though 4 games above .500. BasX
Not to add to the Celtics' misery, but Raptors have 2nd easiest remaining schedule, based on opponents' winning pct. Mia has easiest. As Wilbon would say, gettin some Dap., somewhat Edited February 8, 2010 by BasX
Check my Stats
2nd easiest compared to what? 2nd easiest in the entire NBA or among the 4-8 seeds in the East? If the entire NBA that is pretty sick, lol.
BasX
Looks like overall considering. Cleveland: Twice Left(Home, Away)Boston: One Left (Home)Atlanta: Twice Left(Home, Away)Orlando: None We really only have one large West coast string left. That is a 4 gamer which is @LAL, @SAC, @GS, @POR 31 Games Left (16 Home, 15 Away)
Check my Stats
6-1 on the stretch now I think? Time to put our foot down, winning the last 3 would be insane. Celtics lost tonight so that puts us only 4 games back of them. Happy days
Check my Stats
6-2, blows that we blew that game last night, and with Bosh out we could drop these next 2 should win games. The Wizards look horrible now and the Nets are crap, we need Hedo to step the [expletive] up these next 2 games with Bosh potentially out for them both. From everything that I have heard Bosh is only going to miss tomorrows game against New Jersey and will be in the lineup for Saturday's game against Washington. You never know though.
