The Regime
AFC wins. Yes it was a bad move to move the Pro Bowl a week before the SuperBowl. I'm sure the Pro Bowl will probably get more viewers, but they are going to be missing a total of 12 guys from the Colts and Saints (6 each), a couple of which who probably would be starting. Colts:* Dallas Clark, tight end* Dwight Freeney, defensive end* Peyton Manning, quarterback* Robert Mathis, defensive end* Jeff Saturday, center* Reggie Wayne, wide receiver Saints:* Drew Brees, quarterback* Jahri Evans, guard* Jonathan Goodwin, center* Darren Sharper, free safety* Jonathan Stinchcomb, tackle* Jonathan Vilma, inside/middle linebacker Edited January 25, 2010 by Confidence
Phightins
New poll... Who honestly gives a [expletive] about the Pro Bowl? And to answer the second poll question, yes moving it to before the Super Bowl made it an even bigger joke than it was before (I didn't think that was possible). BasX
4 Steelers, dats cool. I like it before the Superbowl, something to watch during the bye week, cause we all know the Grammys are a joke themselves as well. Cobb
I wish a Falcon had gotten in. Oh well, either way I'll be watching it. Go NFC!
reno
I like the idea of having some kind of football during bye week, but the probowl itself is a joke. Its just a good status symbol for the player who makes it, but only if they made the all pro team.
La Bomba
This year it's even more of a joke than usual. Playing the game before the Superbowl is dumb enough as it is, but having players like Vince Young and David Gerard makes the teams is laughable. Legacy
I'm actually going to watch it this year. Nnamdi and Revis ftw.
fish7718
Moving it b4 the superbowl was a great idea now Romo gets to play. But for real it is better before the superbowl becuase I garuntee more people watch this year than years passed because football is not over yet. Fine not a good idea for some but for the NFL great idea.
Cobb
I was just watching ESPN and Ocho Cinco is reporting that he'll be kicking field goals, punting, and maybe even kicking off. If this is true, I can't wait to see it.
CaliCurbStomppa
Pro Bowl should have new rule where if your in Super Bowl you don't play just so you can prepare for the big game since it now a week before the Super Bowl. I think NFC gonna win for some reason

BeeZee
I'll be rooting for the NFC, though I don't expect them to win.

Owner Real Deal Posted January 31, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 31, 2010 I may watch a little of it, maybe part of the beginning and near the end. I've never really had any interest in the Pro Bowl, though. The NBA's All-Star game is on another level.

There's already lack of defense in the NBA and the all-star game takes that to a whole other level. I don't like seeing games end with scores of 146-119. Just not entertaining seeing players walk into the lane and throw it down. That's just me though.

Fun, but just worthless. However, the 2008 game was pretty interesting, probably not on the level of the 2003 game in Atlanta (that was the one with Jordan hitting that jumper over Marion, and Kobe getting fouled on the three). It seems like every other year, for a while, there's a very close game between the two. 2008, 2006, 2004 have been pretty good.
fish7718
I'm watching, moving it before the superbowl has hooked me in. Never pass on an oppertunity to see my man Tony play. I never actually watched a probowl so it should be interesting.
