Sonny Weems would've been a better participant, actually.

If Shannon had tried that Statue of Liberty dunk one more time, he probably would've gotten a 45-46 and ended up in the second round, but he was too stupid to do it.

Still would've been a bust, though. I'm just sad I didn't get to see what DJ Mbenga was going to do.

I think he would've dunked over DJ, but who knows. Maybe something retarded.

I mean seriously, he brought Kobe out for THAT??? I've seen Shannon dunk better in an actual game than this.

Andre Iguodala was the last great dunk contest dunker.

I guess the judges had no choice but to give DeRozan a 50 on his second dunk.

I was originally hoping for Nate to lose, but looking back, I would've just been in favor of simply an entertaining dunk contest. We didn't even get that. Next year, I really don't care who wins. I don't care who competes, even if it means Nate AGAIN, which it probably will be. I just want the contest to be more enjoyable than the other competitions, just like it used to be.

Dwight had some NASTY dunks, though. The tap off the glass was one of the best dunks I've seen in the contest, and he also had one where he bounced it off the back of the backboard.

This was officially the worst dunk contest I've ever seen, and I've watched every single one of them since the early 80's.

I'll agree with you on that, but I was merely referring to his ability to entertain the crowd. The lack of motivation from these dunkers tonight was an embarrassment.

Shannon Brown was all hype.

Gerald Wallace was clueless and did in-game dunks.

Nate Robinson won because of his height (like always).

DeRozan had one good dunk.

I've never seen a stadium so quiet in my years of watching this contest. If Flight White isn't signed by an NBA Team by next years' All Star Break, I'm signing a petition to shut down this contest and make HORSE the main event.

Man..was it THAT bad?

I'm assuming you didn't get to watch the D-League dunk contest? The winner there would've cruised to a victory tonight, and their runner-up was better than all four in this contest as well.

No showmanship, no creativity, not a single new dunk performed, and no enthusiasm whatsoever from the contestants or the crowd. The celebrity game was more entertaining.
