crabbylion
Ya, Big Dog. I can see em squeezing one more in. Trust me dude, I cannot stand the Pats...i'm a longtime Bills fan. I think the organization is good enough to put a team together even though they may lose key players. The market in the local area has been spoiled and I don't think the Boston metro area would appreciate being at the base of the NFL again. Only one more, though. Especially with the resurgence of division foes, Jets and Dolphins.
SRT Spidey
get a secondary and some depth on defense and were right back up there. still got brady and belichick. were in the hunt every year, this is the first season the pats have really been mediocre...look at all the chances weve had to win the superbowl. 01: SB Champs02: missed playoffs03: SB Champs04: SB Champs05: Lost to Denver in division06: Lost to Colts after leading 24-3 in afc championship07: Lost to Giants in superbowl after 16-0 season08: Brady lost for season09: Defensive core lost'10: Well see
Guest The Situation
I believe they are done. Funny how Moss and Welker come in and they aren't winning anything.
BasX
If Miami can get a big play Wideout and Henne continues to develop, I see that as a reason I think they are done. Add that to the Jets resurgence and it'll be tough. But winning the Super Bowl is massively tough, especially when Peyton hit his prime, Steelers are always a threat and the Chargers still have talent. Flash
Nope. 08 was their last chance to go and get one and they didn't do it. I really think Bellicheck has at most 3 years left in him. He doesn't seem like a guy who wants to hang around coaching much longer and they really lack at skill positions. Not to mention teams like Indy, Baltimore, Cincy and the Jets are all teams on the rise in the AFC. They are probably losing Vince Wilfork too. The Regime
No they're done, they wont have Welker for the majority of next season and Moss has lost a couple steps. It's going to take the defense a couple seasons, they are too young and inexperienced. There are just too many good teams in the AFC, the Ravens, Bengals, Colts, Chargers, and Steelers are all better than the Pats.
His Greatness
Their championship aspirations look improbable now but a lot can happen in the three years plus Brady has left. They will always be good enough to compete with that duo intact. I still said no anyways. The window is almost shut.
fly3rs18
they are absolutely have a good enough base to win it, but they just need to improve their defense and they would have a legit shot

ChosenOne
lol first off no one is hating on the Pats and I actually think that yes they will win one more with both Belichick and Brady, but it will come only after these 3 things. Lkr
no, look at their drafts over the past 8 years. How many of those guys are on the team? How many of those guys are great, or even good players?
Celtics3420
Yes if this defense can improve to a level it used to be at. We have a nice core to build around defensively, Merriweather, Mayo is nice. That D-Line is decent, our corners need work though. Manning isn't bothersome to me tbh, we have held 20 pt leads in the 2nd half twice, and lost em, twice smfh. That's on the defense. So, if the defense improves, yes, maybe even multiple championships. If the defense is in a limbo as it is now, then sadly we won't see one again in the brady era. CaliCurbStomppa
No there dynasty is over. They keep getting worse and i think they might be even worse this upcoming season with the Jets getting better and the Dolphins seems to improve every year Edited January 29, 2010 by CaliCurbStomppa
reno
Patriots will probably make the wildcard/playoffs for the next few years, but there regime is over. Its been what,5+ years since they won a sb? Brady isn't getting younger, the defense is old as [expletive], and offensively they aren't the same as they were a few years ago. + they seem to have lost all their important coordinator back in the dynasty days.
