It has issues in the demo and beta, but DICE and EA are working really hard to fix them. A patch for the PC beta came out earlier today, and this game is so much more fun than MW2 is right now. I have always been a fan of the Battlefield series, and I believe the original Bad Company is still the most enjoyable online experience on the 360/PS3. Battlefield 2 and 2142 are probably some of my favorite PC games too. If you haven't played the demo yet(or for the other 2 PC gamers here, get the beta), DO IT NOW. Game comes out in early March. I get on that turret at the top of the construction site on the first base and I mow everyone down, including the retard snipers that don't notice that I can't be sniped while on that thing. It was okay but overall it was no wear near as good as COD4. Call of Duty is not over rated at all I'm a long time player of online shooters and it by far better than any other shooter ever released. Call of Duty 4 should go down as one of the great online console shooters if not greatest console multiplayer game of all time. BF:BC was a joke of a game with 1 mode that got so damn repetitive it bored you to death. That is why they have their own fanboys and dedicated players even long after their "time" is up. Some people love strategy and intense teamwork, and some people like going on to a prettier game with prettier effects and "pwning teh n00bz". To each his own. I will say MW2 on gamebattles is a totally different experience, as teams USE teamwork and camp down positions, etc. Typically in a room where that tactic is employed you hear "[expletive]ing camping noobie stop playing like a girl" etc etc etc. It's why I have MW2 and totally plan on picking up BF:BC2 as well... I'll have two games that will both suit my gaming desires, depending on what mood hits me. I understand your reasoning against, but I don't think it's a reason to dismiss a game completely. There are plenty of modes and gametypes that actually require strategy... though yes, generally you are correct with your stereotype. I'd love to see a re-release of CoD2 or at least another title in the future with similar gameplay. None of these killstreaks deathstreaks perks and attachments garbage.
