The league said McKinnie missed practice Friday and Saturday and is subject to a fine. His agent didn't respond to messages seeking comment, but McKinnie sent a text message to the Minneapolis Star Tribune on Saturday, claiming that he withdrew from the Pro Bowl because of an injury. Jenneral Posted January 31, 2010 Report Share Posted January 31, 2010 I can see them not allowing him to play in it, but a fine too?! It's the pro bowl. Most players don't want to play in it and it's optional anyway. I don't see how you can fine someone for missing practices for a game that means absolutely nothing.
