The Regime
LeBron James is the one driving Cleveland's pursuit of Jamison, according to a source, and Cavs GM Danny Ferry is attempting to appease his star. The Wizards want a young asset in return and the Cavaliers have been reluctant to include J.J. Hickson. Real GM
Check my Stats
Eh, I don't see why they are reluctant to move JJ. He seems okay, but I doubt he is anything more than a fringe starter, even so. I would do anything I would to appease the King right now. I am not sure Jamison is exactly what they need, but he would be the best 2nd option LeBron has ever had offensively, and I doubt there is really much better on the market right now. kingfish
The Wizards wont help their biggest rival, its that simple. They should look elsewhere, perhaps Kevin Martin.
A.K.
Rumor has it, LeBron may sign an extension rather than test free agency this summer if they can land a big name before the deadline.

Why would we want Kevin Martin, another scorer who plays weak defense? He is definitely not someone we need.
Cleveland's Finest
We can lose JJ...remember Leon Powe can fill in for losing him. Mo/AP/LeBron/Jamison/Shaq with Z, Andy, Delonte, Powe, Moon, Gibson, Jawad off the bench....that is one hell of a star studded/great role player team. I want Jamison so bad....he's such a competitor and always is working as hard as anyone on the court.
ChosenOne
Jamison is an every night player, if they Cavs manage to get there hands on him I dont see anyone other than the lakers being able to match up with them.

Why would they want Lebron to stay in Cleveland along with Antawn, so the Wizards can never win the East for the rest of Lebrons career, and be known as the franchise that started Lebrons title run? And your right, why would you guys want Kevin Martin? Better yet, why did you think I was talking about the Wizards potentially getting Kevin Martin? Why would us trading an aging Jamison to the Cavs assure that Lebron would always top us for the rest of his career? Besides, the latest rumor says that the Wizards are asking for too much from the Cavs so the trade may not go down at all.

If the Cavs win the title, dont you think Lebron would stay in Cleveland? If Lebron stays in Cleveland, wouldnt that mean more dominance over the Wizards? Do you think Wizards fans would be happy about the Cavs always dominating them, and knowing that they gave the Cavs a great player to help Lebron in Cleveland? Lebron won't have a good supporting cast forever and we'll have our chance to top them. Either way, we have to move him because holding onto an unhappy Jamison isn't going to do us any good. It's time to rebuild, and we have a chance to shed a good amount of salary by trading him to Cleveland.

JWaLL
There are several other places they can trade Jamison to, I dont think Cleveland is the right one. That's the main concern with our team. I just wish we would stop asking for so much in return so we could make a move already and get some much needed cap relief. Cleveland doesn't seem like a great option, but right now it seems to be our only option. With the trade deadline only 2 weeks away, we better start exploring other realistic possibilities. Check my Stats
You are crazy if you tihnk the Wizards are going to pass up the golden chance to dump a salary like Jamison just because it is the Cavaliers. The only thing I would be worried about from a Cavaliers perspective, is the potential situation of the Wizards not waiving or buying Z out for the Cavaliers to re-sign. Sure their history probably makes negotiations more difficult, but if the Cavs are offering what they want, they will surely pull the trigger.
