Poe
It's between the Bucks, Bulls, and Heat (unfortunately ). The Heat have a tough 9 game schedule heading into today, and seeing them lose their first... there is a chance their record may slide unless they can pick themselves back up together. As for Chicago and Milwaukee, I don't see either team making a huge run in their record or a big drop. They will probably be neck and neck until the end of the year, unless one team decides to make a big trade before the deadline.
Sun Tzu
I think how it looks now is how its going to look when the season is over. I don't think the Bucks will be able to get a better record than the Bulls.
BlueDevil
ya id say the east is pretty much done and all set up. just some of the bottom 3 will switch around, but these are your playoff teams imo.
Redneck
I think it's really between the teams who are battling for it now. I do hope Philly and Detroit and maybe even Washington make a push for it later in the season. mainly so the Knicks lose.
Erick Blasco
I love how three days after this post goes up, Milwaukee catches Miami and is a game behind Toronto and Chicago for the 5 seed. Clearly the Bucks are a lock to miss the playoffs.
fish7718
I wouldn't count the Knicks out just yet.
Redneck
It's getting close to them being out. 11 games below 500 with a brutal spring schedule, while teams like Charlotte and Milwaukee and playing a lot better. I have no personal animosity towards the Knicks and I do have some empathy for their fans, but I want their pick to be good.
Built Ford Tough
I love how three days after this post goes up, Milwaukee catches Miami and is a game behind Toronto and Chicago for the 5 seed. Clearly the Bucks are a lock to miss the playoffs. The Bucks are a game back of Chicago for the 6th seed, but they are 4 back of Toronto for the 5th seed. Don't know why you thought Chicago and Toronto were tied for 5th, or I am just reading your post wrong. I wouldn't count the Knicks out just yet. Cleveland's Finest
The 76ers will make a run and might get the 7-8 seed. I want the Bucks to make it, but they have to maintain their momentum.
Warren2ThaG
Indiana will make a push in the end and make it so close you won't believe it.
BasX
Ya Toronto has done a very good job creating their own spot in the 5th seed, behind the top 4 but a few games ahead of the rest.
Check my Stats
I think the teams in the 8 spots now will be the teams in the 8 spots come playoff time. I think there is a serious talent drop off from that Bulls squad who is in 8th to Milwaukee and New York. Philly has the talent but they need a coach before they can do anything. Beastley
I could really see the 76ers grabbing the final playoff spot or maybe even the seventh seed. Though besides that I really think it'll just be teams in the top eight spots moving around in positioning.
Clutch
the top 4 are locked..8th probably still up for grabs
Check my Stats
If the Heat fall out of the playoffs I am sure Wade is gone. I don't see how you can stay in a situation where management would rather sit around and wait for 2010 rather than appease their only star player. At least the Raptors and Cavaliers are making a serious attempt to please their stars, the Heat are completely neglecting Wade. He should leave just to make a point.
