SRT Spidey
Based upon what they did this season and what they can do in this upcoming off-season, who is one player away from being superbowl material? Decide here, remember folks this is all just my opinion and how i believe things may turn out. The Great iBoldin
Super Bowl material is such a lightly based word right now. What's the criteria for such a term? I think the Bengals, Patriots, Cowboys, Giants and Eagles have a lot of work to build towards still before being considered. Based on this years play, only the Colts, Saints, Chargers and Vikings were the class of the NFL, and were really the only Super Bowl material-type teams. You have to divulge into this question in August, after free agency, after trades, after the Draft and a bit of the training camp reports. Can't answer the question right now. JYD
And should the Eagles really be there?Yeah, I think so. I think the Eagles can certainly win the S.B. next year, I wouldn't be shocked at all. I wouldn't say they are the favorite, not by any means, but they certainly have the talent to win a Super Bowl...
SRT Spidey
yea agree about the steelers, ravens. disagree with jets, bengals. and yes the Eagles are deff a piece away from a superbowl win.

A Q.B. with more experience who, let's face it, will probably be better next year. Kris Jenkins back, full year for Braylon Edwards... I don't really see why "on-paper" they are not Super Bowl material...that's a ridiculous claim if you ask me. Sanchez has a couple more years and this team needs a few more pieces. Don't see room for them in the playoffs next season PENDING the off-season.. They weren't a Super Bowl team to be fair, but at the same time they underachieved all season long. That defense alone makes them at least be thrown in with teams in the Super Bowl material column. Lkr
How are the Packers not Super Bowl material? "Could make playoffs"? After the second half of last season, they are a top 3 NFC team The fact you have Steelers listed as could make playoffs shows how dumb this list is Edited February 8, 2010 by Lkr
Guest The Situation
And should the Eagles really be there? Ya Eagles are always a threat IMO. Even though we choke. lol

SRT Spidey
i would pretty much put money on the Packers not making the playoffs next season if they dont make any key additions this off-season. :glasses:

The Giants have been the Eagles' [expletive] the past 2 seasons, at least. Edited February 9, 2010 by Phightins
