Jenneral
The Bucks are shopping Luke Ridnour, Hakim Warrick and young forward Joe Alexander in trade talks, according to sources. RealGM Note: Ridnour is having an outstanding season and also has an expiring contract at $6.5 million. Warrick has an expiring contract of $3 million and Alexander will be an unrestricted free agent due to Milwaukee's decision not to pick up their third-year option. Smitty
How has Warrick been anyway? I've always wanted him in Philly.
Jenneral
How has Warrick been anyway? I've always wanted him in Philly. He's had spurts here and there but overall has been a huge disappointment. Now Ilyasova and Delfino get virtually all the playing time over him. Smitty
Hi Jenneral <3 But yeah, that's a shame. I hope he finds his groove again. I wanted the Sixers to get another 1st rounder and snag him in the draft a few years back.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 9, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 WHY do the Bucks think it's a good idea to trade Ridnour? He's playing very good basketball for them off the bench. I would actually start him, throw Jennings in as a two-guard, and deal Warrick and Alexander's contracts for a capable starter at the four. Fact is...Delfino, Bell, Ilyasova...none of them should be starting. They wouldn't start on any other team in the league. Deal the contracts to teams like Chicago, who are looking to get rid of guys like Tyrus Thomas, and bring in capable starters. Then hold a gun to Michael Redd and demand that he declines his player option, or pray that a fool actually takes him in a trade at the end of the season. Newman
I guess the Bucks want to cash in on Ridnour since he is playing great at the moment, I don't believe anyone will bite though until trade deadline day. Warrick could be attractive to some teams because he's got an expiring contract and that he is an athletic big man that still has some untapped potential. I see the likes of Spurs or the Mavs making a push for him.
