Dash Posted February 10, 2010 Report Share Posted February 10, 2010 The Boston Celtics and Charlotte Bobcats are discussing a trade centered around Glen Davis and D.J. Augustin, according to league sources. The two teams are having discussions, but nothing is imminent. A straight-up trade would not work because Davis is a base-year compensation player, so other players would have to be involved to meet the financial requirements. Link This would be a great trade for the Celtics, DJ is capable of playing backup to Rondo and still has the potential to be a major contributor. DJ needs to get away from Larry Brown.
