NFL Offseason 2010

Keeping Collins is a big move. He's the most underrated safety in the NFL IMO and one of the biggest ball hawks in the league. So glad we re-signed him.

I would really like us to get another running back and address the LB position in the 3-4 with Kampman now gone.

TO does not have top end speed any more.

When he was a Cowboy he did, so unless something happened over the course of last year I'd still say he does. Just because the stats aren't there doesn't mean he's lost a step. Lee Evans probably top 3 speed wise in the NFL in terms of receivers doesn't get a lot of balls either because the Buffalo QB's suck.

Lost all respect for him when I saw this. He obviously cares more about himself then the team. Theres a reason McDaniels went so far as to bench him in the final game of the season a must-win for them.

oh of course, marshall is a total [expletive], but as far as talent and on field ability, marshall is one of the best in the league

No doubt his skill level is well above Bryant when I did my

Bryant > Marshall > TO it was just to point I think Bryant would be a better signing but yeah no doubt Marshall is the better talent.

Jets do 2-year, $5.2M deal with RB Tomlinson

Jets agreed to terms with RB LaDainian Tomlinson on a two-year, $5.2 million contract. Another $500,000 is available via incentives.

Tomlinson, 31 in June, does give the Jets another option at the goal line, but his addition is probably more of a threat to Leon Washington's 2010 fantasy outlook than Shonn Greene's. Greene is clearly the team's new go-to back, while Washington may now be primarily counted on to return kicks as opposed to change-of-pace and third-down duties as he comes off a compound leg fracture. LT obviously doesn't have much left, but he could perhaps still offer some value on 8-10 touches per game off the bench.

Quinn just got traded to Broncos... I think they gave Browns Hillis and a draft pick. Broncos did good right there. Now if they can try get Marshall back maybe Quinn can be real good

Only way Marshall comes back to Denver is if McDaniels is fired.

Seahawks cut ties with overpaid S Deon Grant

Seahawks released SS Deon Grant.

Grant, 31, had $17 million in salary due over the next three years and his play fell off a cliff last season, so he was always a likely release candidate. The move leaves Seattle with just one surefire starter (CB Marcus Trufant) at the four defensive back positions. Expect the Seahawks to strongly consider Tennessee S Eric Berry if he's available at either of their picks in the top 14. Mar. 15 - 9:00 pm et

Ya, I'd love Eric Berry.

JaMarcus doesn't show for offseason program

JaMarcus Russell was a no-show for the start of the Raiders' offseason conditioning program Monday.

Considering Russell's work ethic and track record, the real surprise would've been if he had reported on time. The program is voluntary, but Russell is facing a make-or-break year in Oakland and needs all the conditioning he can get. Charlie Frye and Bruce Gradkowski both showed up in the morning. One Raiders starter was quoted as calling the Russell situation "a horror show." Asked about Russell's attendance, another replied "don't hold your breath."

How long will the continue to keep this fool?

Philly raped Seattle this afternoon, getting Tapp for Clemons. That's gross for the Seahawks. Another 3-13-like season in the Northwest I'm thinking.

We won the trade and I wouldn't be surprised if we won 13 games. Were something special.

Eagles just got Seattle DE Darryl Tapp in a trade for chump change. I was reading Seattle blogs and they are pissed. Must be a part of the Cliff Lee deal.

We also signed Mike Bell to an offer sheet.
