NFL confirms Santonio Holmes' four-game ban

NFL suspended Jets WR Santonio Holmes four games for violating the league's drug policy.

He'll participate in all of training camp, and is eligible to begin playing in games in Week 5. The Jets consider it a great problem to have, but Holmes' role when his season starts is uncertain. While he is the team's best talent at receiver, the Jets will likely be hesitant to immediately install him as a starter. It's possible that he'll start out as only a deep threat in three-receiver packages. Holmes will be an underwhelming fantasy pick. His upside is limited by a run-first offense and the Jets' slew of other passing-game weapons.

Everyone saw this coming.

He better tell him to cut his hair, god damn. Anyway, i am expecting the worst, hoping for the best.

Yo NetsVC, this. I didn't post a picture like you did, but I did point it out very briefly.

Miami Trying To Trade Ted Ginn

NFL.com - The Dolphins are looking to trade former first-round pick Ted Ginn Jr. ahead of next week's NFL Draft.

League sources told NFL.com on Tuesday of Miami's plans.

Ginn has excelled as a returner, but had just 38 receptions for 454 yards and one touchdown last season.

First team that comes to mind is the 49ers, they need an upgrade in their kr game.

Report: Seahawks have discussed Marshawn Lynch

The mystery Pro Bowl running back on the trade block we mentioned a few days back is indeed Marshawn Lynch. But he won't come cheaply.

Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports reports that the Bills "would be open to moving [Lynch] if a package included a second-round pick."

I heard Philly absolutely loves Earl Thomas and may be willing to trade up in order to grab him. IMO this is a perfect opportunity for Miami to trade down.

If we were swap picks and drop down to 24 I really like Jerry Hughes out of TCU.

Chris Mortenson wrote on his twitter last night that chances are "60-40, maybe higher" that Osi is dealt on draft day... If someone falls to the 2nd that the Giants like, I can see Osi being moved for the Rams 2nd rounder, 1st in the round. Osi played his best football under Spags.

i would love to see the eagles do that. eagles need big help at safety and earl thomas seems like a perfect fit for this defense, his role would be very similar to dawkins

i dont know how much its gonna take to trade up, but if we can get thomas in the first round and keep both second round picks then i cant even describe how much i would love it

It'd probably take your first and maybe a later round pick. That or the 2 seconds. There's so much OLB depth in this draft that I don't see a huge drop off between the top guys (Morgan, Kindle & Pierre Paul) and the lower ranked players.

id be very surprised to see the eagles trade both second round picks for the dolphins pick. the 24th pick and a mid round pick or two seems much more realistic for the eagles to do, just from what ive seen from the eagles front office

I'll take the first rounder and a mid level pick. If we can get Jerry Hughes at 24 that'd be awesome.
