The Great iBoldin
Nope. You hang onto those tackle stats and Sims' damaged reputation then.
NomarFachix
You hang onto those tackle stats and Sims' damaged reputation then. I'll hang on to what he was before he was injured and played in a new scheme that was opposite of his talents... Thanks for the permission, love. Thanks for the permission, love. You would have a legitimate gripe if Sims was good in any of the schemes he played in. But he wasn't, so the point is moot. NomarFachix
Hi, my name is Bounding and Astounding, and what I had written will make no difference to those who are dead set in their haterism. So I erased it. Thanks! Edited April 20, 2010 by Bounding and Astounding
NomarFachix
B&A is done on the Ernie Sims front... Haters 'gon hate. Schedules are out now, draft is in two days... Let's get this season going already!
His Greatness
lol, everyone on OTR is so liberal with that word. Right, because it's so absurd that anyone disagrees with you, we must be haters. Not realists with an opinion, but a hater. Definitely. fish7718
The Eagles gave the 137th pick. That's like the 100th pick in previous years drafts, not bad, just have to see how Sims does I guess.
ChosenOne
Report: Steelers not ruling out Big Ben trade The Steelers have fielded phone calls about Ben Roethlisberger and have not ruled out a trade, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Gary Dulac. This wouldn't be a straight dump like the Santonio Holmes trade. Though the Steelers are not "actively" shopping Big Ben, the Rooney family would give the green light on a trade if the right offer comes along. Until recently it seemed unlikely that Roethlisberger would be dealt, but the tide has turned against him in Pittsburgh. It would no longer surprise us to see Big Ben in another uniform. Phightins
That's like the 100th pick in previous years drafts, not bad, just have to see how Sims does I guess. Yeah. I'd be lying if I were to say I am an Ernie Sims expert. Even if he does have as many question marks as people in here are saying, for that low of a pick I can't really complain... bigdog17k
Wow I'm hearing Steelers offered Roethlisberger to Rams... EDIT: Ben is also going to be suspended 4-6 games.
BasX
Steelers also picked up Leftwich from the Bucs. He played well for the Steelers a couple years ago and is much more of a sure thing for the 4-6 games than Dixon, though I love Dennis. Big Ben is a two time superbowl champion quarterback, I don't like the guy for obvious reasons but is the organization really giving up on him? It seems crazy! BasX
No, they wont trade him. But Byron can fill in fine.
Flash
Pittsburgh has begun contacting teams to trade Ben Roethlisberger for a top 10 pick. At least one team considering it. Story far from done. That's coming from Adam Schefter's twitter. Oakland and Cleveland shouldn't even have to think twice.

BasX
I doubt they trade him to Cleveland. If they even consider it. Edited April 21, 2010 by BasX

BasX
I still don't think they are trading him and its likely they are just testing the market for value. I doubt they really do even consider it. Probably one of those "What would you trade for Ben, a top ten pick?", other team "Unlikely". Flash
Al Davis is too dumb to go after Ben. Why get a franchise QB when you can pick Taylor Mays at 8?
