Owner Real Deal Posted February 13, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted February 13, 2010 My vote goes to Shannon Brown, especially after a memory refresh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4IKG8DWu2E I don't see how he can't win this contest. Anyone think he resembles LeBron (in just blocking shots and dunking, of course) this season? Check out the video. :o
bravenewworld
Its amazing some of the dunks he pulls off (or tries to) in game situations.
bigdog17k
Awesome dunker. He's a hustle player too.
Wall2Wall
It's always hard to say who's "best" at anything, especially when talking about in-game dunking. Some players, such as Will Bynum and Ronnie Brewer, could be the best dunkers if they wanted to be, but they don't play for exciting teams and they don't always pull the rim down to make it look "cool". I think those two smaller guys are capable of throwing it down whenever, they just choose not to. Regardless, Shannon Brown is certainly a candidate. I also think Darius Songaila is a great dunker. He once had a dunk in 2004 :o
Warren2ThaG
For sure, if he started he'd have a highlight reel from 2-3 games. Raise the hoop 2 more feet and he'd still damage it!
MainEv3nt
imma go with shannon brown 2 or maybe josh smith. the thing that makes shannon so appealing is his vertical leap not his actual dunks lol, also just cus he a good in-game dunker dont mean hes creative dunker (aka rudy gay.) also people don't need to sleep on gerald wallace for the dunk contest, hes done [expletive] for it b4 (just not nba wise i think.) Guest The Situation
Lebron.
JWaLL
Lebron is the best in game dunker... by far. Josh Smith is second. Shannon Brown is probably in the top 5 somewhere.
Clutch
ye lebron's in game dunks are pretty sick, shannon, derrik rose, g.wallace..IGUODALAAAA lol he's my personal fav
SRV
Lebron doesn't do anything special, he just gets above the rim and he is really strong. Other people have style to their dunks. Edited February 13, 2010 by SRV
KurbyFX
LeBron's dunks are power dunks... How does that deem him the best? Smith and Brown have best in game dunks.
AboveLegit
LeBron because he can totally change the momentum of games with one dunk on a fastbreak.
bravenewworld
Yea. LBJ does nothing but power dunks, Brown does some all-star weekend [expletive] in regular games.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 13, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted February 13, 2010 If Shannon Brown was averaging 30/7/7 and was a superstar, I'm sure it would be a unanimous decision. But yeah, I take Brown, followed by Smith. I'd probably stick LeBron in third, though.
