Legacy
I was watching the 2000 dunk contest and I remembered Steve Francis. He was one of my favorite players of the time and I was wondering what happened to him. I think he's a free agent and he's not that old at age 32. Why won't a team pick him up? It's not like he's Stephon Marbury.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 14, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted February 14, 2010 That's the problem -- he is like Stephon. Both are done. Neither can play in a set offense, Francis' legs are like rusty pogo sticks, and he's not even a legit backup point or two-guard in the league anymore. Most of that is due to Cuttino Mobley's retirement, though. Steve probably averages 15/10/10 if Mobley is sharing a locker room with him. YugoRocketsFan
He sucks tbh, he had a stint with the Rockets and really didnt do anything.
Dash
Francis was coming along but he injured that knee again, Houston spent a year trying to get him back healthy but eventually realized the guy wasn't going to come back. Check my Stats
He fell off about as hard as anyone could. He averaged 21 a game one year then the next became a total scrub for the Magic/Knicks. He was always kind of overrated to begin with though, you knew once his legs were gone, so was he. BasX
I'm glad that bird is out of the league.
