AboveLegit
With Dallas stealing Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood away from Washington, do you think this will entice other Western Conference contenders to make trades to strengthen their chances of winning the West? Will Lakers/Buss finally nut up and pull the trigger on that Hinrich deal? Will Denver be able to acquire another big, even though they don't have many tradeable assets? Will Utah try to move Boozer, now that his value is high? You guys think that other Western Conf. teams will pull the trigger, because Dallas did? Do they have to? Owner Real Deal Posted February 14, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted February 14, 2010 No idea, but if the Lakers make a move, you can be sure the Cavaliers will...and vice-versa.
bravenewworld
I think we will see the teams make the expected trades. I do see Hinrich going to the Lakers, Cavs will land someone if they want any hope of keeping LBJ, Miami might make a trade. Doubtful Denver will make a trade though. The Artesticle
I think the trade raised some eyebrows, but I doubt it causes a domino effect like the Gasol deal did. As for the Lakers, I'm almost positive the Hinrich deal won't happen. If the Lakers make a trade, it'll be one that comes out of nowhere. Whenever a Laker rumor is out about a potential trade, especially one like this, which has been out for this long, it NEVER happens. Maybe this time it'll be different, but I doubt it. This isn't how Mitch operates (see Ariza, Gasol, Brown/Morrison trades, and the numerous rumored deals that never went through) Edited February 14, 2010 by Artesticle
Redneck
I think we'll see some moves. I expect Amare will get dealt, and some other ones. I don't see the Jazz moving Boozer though. There is no way they'll get anything of equal value for him and the Jazz are not one to make huge midseason trades.
