Lets go. Heres my list

1. Larry Bird

2. Ray Allen

3. Reggie Miller

4. Kobe Bryant

5. Steve Nash

6. Michael Jordan

7. Steve Kerr

8. Dirk Nowitzki

9. Jerry West

10. Brent Barry

And please dont make lists that have like Jason Kapono and Eddie House in there, im not talking about stand still shooters that dont move anywhere on the court. Im talking about the whole combination of shooters. Mid-range, to outside 3 point shooters, pull up jumpers, fadeaways, shots off of screens, contested shots, clutch shots, etc.

Oh and btw this thread was inspired by Paulina Pierce proclaiming himself an all time great shooter , I wanna see how many lists have Kobe on them.

Kobe and Jordan werent exactly shooters, i'd also place Rip in there.

Well, Jordan was one of the best jumpshooters of his time, and you can't ignore how well Kobe shoots with two players in his face, with the best defenders on him, and even with the best "face-guarding" the league has ever seen (Battier).

That slides Bryant into the top 10, actually. Jordan is sitting outside of that, along with guys like Mark Price, Jeff Hornacek, and John Stockton...but you can make a case for any of them in the top 10.

A guy doesn't have to restrict his game to shooting to necessarily be one of the greatest shooters ever.

TBH, Kobe might be as good as at shooting as some of the guys on the list, Jordan too but I dont see them as shooters, rather as scorers. Also good defenders who can stay with Kobe dont bother him but long players with great athleticism do, like Ariza. A shooter in my mind is someone who most (bout 85%) of his shots come from outside 10 feet, Kobe may do that now since hes a veteran now and doesnt use his leaping ability much.

I'd place Nash as a better shooter than Kobe. He's definitely amongst the all time greats.

1. Bird

2. Miller

3. Allen

4. West

5. English

6. Mullin

7. Nowitzki

8. Rick Barry

9. Bryant

10. Sharman

Uhh, but you didnt have Nash above Kobe. . Unless you meant Patrick O' Bryant or something.
