ChosenOne
Sources: Martin heading to Rockets The Houston Rockets, in an abrupt late twist to their long-running efforts to trade Tracy McGrady, have reached an agreement in principal with the Sacramento Kings to acquire coveted guard Kevin Martin, ESPN.com has learned. Martin was pulled from the second half of the Kings' game Wednesday night at Golden State in anticipation of the trade, sources said. Although the details of the complete construction of the trade could not immediately be confirmed, sources said that it's possible that the deal could be expanded into a three-way trade that lands Rockets guard Tracy McGrady with the New York Knicks before Thursday's 3 p.m. trading deadline. One source with knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com that McGrady will either end up with the Kings or the Knicks by the deadline to bring Martin to Houston after Sacramento refused trade interest in the high-scoring guard for weeks. Smitty
Why on Earth did Houston give up Landry? Wow.
The Artesticle
WOW... Landry??? I don't know if I'd trade Landry for Martin straight up. Landry has been an absolute beast for them, he's a warrior. Kevin Martin is very one dimensional and he can never stay healthy. Maybe Houston knows what they're doing, but this is a very stupid trade in my opinion.
ChosenOne
I really hope that we did not trade Landry, and that Brandon got some false info about that [expletive].
Vitasoy
Whoa, didn't see that coming. Landry will probably start immediately for the Kings.
ChosenOne
I think we absotuely got raped in this trade, it would have been an ok trade if we had kept Landry but with Landry in this I [expletive]ing hate it. We were better off keeping Tracy than doing this.

Owner Real Deal Posted February 18, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 The trade will stay the same, minus McGrady's destination, if it changes. Sacramento will still get Landry, at least...or else they don't make this deal.

Lemon
The three team trade talks have been revived so it could have been a bluff to get more out of the trade from New York. It seems like Morey is just [expletive]ing with Walsh right now.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 18, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 The idea is to have the Kings accept what the Rockets wouldn't...but I'm assuming that means no Jordan Hill, because the reason why the trade wasn't made was because Walsh stated that Hill was staying in New York. Dash
Word is that Jordan Hill may end up in Houston.
