Flash
Bleh. This definitely wouldn't take as much to land Amare though. So maybe it will work out. I think maybe Haslem, Jones, Chalmers and a pick maybe would be all I'm willing to give up.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 18, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 Jazz shot them down. Miami didn't offer enough. Link soon.

Flash
Boozer desperately wants to come to Miami whether through a trade of free agency but idk if we're willing to sign him.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 18, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 Uh oh... @WojYahooNBA Utah and Miami have recruited Wiz to be 3rd team in Boozer talks. Wash would get cap relief out of it. Beasley not involved, source says.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 18, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 Apparently, the Heat are being stubborn about trading those two first-round picks, and it's hurting them in trade talks with other teams.
Flash
I agree with keeping the picks. I would trade one if need be though. Miami needs at least one of those picks in a class this deep IMO.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 18, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 Interesting. Washington would be trading either Arenas, Young, Blatche, or Foye if they are getting cap room. Or Howard, but that wouldn't make sense. Flash
Oh snap. Arenas to Miami lets do it! JK his contract is absurd. I'll take Nick young in a heartbeat though.

That would change once he was actually on your roster. I can't stand Nick.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 18, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 Armed with the expiring contracts of Udonis Haslem and Quentin Richardson, Miami made an "unexpected" offer to the Jazz on Thursday morning, one source said. Utah, though, has insisted for weeks that it prefers to keep Boozer for the rest of the season, even though he can leave the Jazz without compensation this summer as an unrestricted free agent. One version of the proposed deal would have sent Boozer and Washington's Mike James to Miami, Haslem and Richardson to Utah from Miami and Miami's Carlos Arroyo, Utah's Kyrylo Fesenko and perhaps another player to the Wizards. Yet one source said that Miami's Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers were also discussed along with Utah's Kyle Korver.http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4925142
Poe
Q-Rich and Haslem for Boozer is a great deal. I wouldn't mind Arroyo in it as well.
