Super tank and rebuild.

We're going to lose 65% (or more) of the remaining games as it is. Right now, I don't have high hopes for the lottery because well, we never get that type of luck.

This was a dumb trade, here's what Michael Lee had to say:

MrMichaelLee: So does his nickname change from "Taser" to Dominic "Something minor" McGuire? That's cold, man. Cuts $825 Gs from salary cap (luxury tax).

We were already under the luxury tax as it is, so what's the point of trading our best defender?

That's what I'm thinking. I have a feeling the lottery is gonna smack us hard and we get a pick lower than our projected one.

MrMichaelLee: Dom McGuire move officially put the Wizards under the luxury tax, source says. A Z buyout would just be gravy on "stale" mash potatoes.

Alright, I guess it makes sense. Though, I would've preferred trading a different player, I guess this works out. I thought we were under the tax after trading Jamison, but I guess not.

Wiz will still buyout Ilgauskas, source says, but they've created lot of leverage by getting under tax. He'll have to pay for his freedom.
