What lineup is best?

Brewer doesn't take many ill advised shots and Mayo is best when he has the ball in his hands. He has shown court vision and a willingness to pass the ball he didn't show last year. Conley has been mediocre this year and our point guard rotation has been bad. When Lowry was around, Conley played best off the bench. I just feel Mayo would be so much better if he was playing point guard full time.

Would it be a bad idea to use Mayo as a sixth man?

A player of his caliber doesn't go to the bench. Even if he plays a lot of minutes and takes a Jammal Crawford/Jason Terry Role. Not to mention he has too big of an ego to let that happen.

K. I was just thinking, since both Z-Bo and Gay are averaging 20 points each, and Marc Gasol averages nearly 15 points per game (on 58% shooting). It may be easier to spread the shot distribution if one of those 15+ ppg scorers comes off the bench, and replaced by a defensive-minded player in Ronnie. It would probably be beneficial to both the starting line up and the bench unit, plus Mayo's game could benefit from it as well.
