Owner Real Deal Posted February 19, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted February 19, 2010 Wizards guard Mike James has been granted an indefinite leave by the team in anticipation of a buyout, according to team sources. The Wizards held onto James through Thursday in the event that his $6.6 million expiring contract might be included in a trade. The parties are now expected to negotiate a buyout settlement before March 1 that will make James eligible to play in the playoffs with his next team. http://espn.go.com/blog/TrueHoop/post/_/id/13611/james-expected-to-leave-wiz-in-buyout Still cutting salaries? AboveLegit
Well Mike has been pretty upset over his playing time, he's been wanting out of Washington for quite some time now. This doesn't come as a shock to me.
JWaLL
Good. I'm tired of seeing him cry to the media. Buy him out and let him go complain somewhere else.

I like this sentence. As if a playoff team would be interested in Mike James.

Built Ford Tough
Hey now, you guys were willing to take Sasha Vujacic. Only to get one of Chris Bosh's best friends (as if this would actually convince Bosh to stay or something lol), while dumping an equally terrible contract in Marcus Banks. I know you are joking, but there is a huge difference between the scenarios (thought you are well aware of).
