It's not really known at all, but its my favorite album of 2009. Check it out. Seek Magic by Memory Tapes, smoke a j to it if you do that lol.

I'm gonna check it out soon. Thanks man.

You need to hit port for some patio beers, then party it out later that night. Best summer thing.

I would but I work all nights, and my days off my friends all work. [expletive]ty life.

It was great, thanks for asking. I thought it could've been better though if it wasn't Memorial weekend and senior gradnight combined  It was packed more than I thought it would be for a Friday visit. At least we managed to hit almost all the good rides. Big Thunder Mountain had a wait of 70 minutes so we were like screw that =\

There was a million people walking around in Lakers attire. If it wasn't Lakers, it was Suns or Celtics. Saw this whole family sporting Lakers. i was like wow.lol  we even stood outside ESPN Zone at Downtown Disney to watch the Celtics-Magic game for a few minutes then left to go back to Disney for Space Mountain

Fireworks show was amazing. Romantic too

We basically walked almost nonstop the entire day. The only times we would sit was during the rides which are obviously not that long, and for a late lunch. So all that would just add up to idk.. about only an hour of sitting down. So i'm feeling pretty dead today.

woah its been a while anywho-

6-1-10

Birthday eve

I was at universal, just chillin. I decided to sit down on this concrete edge and started to talk with this girl. We were just chattin, but seemed like this convo would not get me anywhere. Next thing i know, this other girl sat down right next to me and stuck her leg right between mine, I got excited, so we started to chat. The other girl gave up and just walked out and left, I felt kinda like a dick but what happened happend, I was gonna score with this new girl. She started to say she was from texas, and told her cool I was from cali. Then she says ohh I'm sorry im also from cali, and I told her bull[expletive], and she said yah i know im really from texas, have you ever been to texas? And i responded yeah ive been to the airport as a stop.

Next thing we decided to go somewhere private and started to leave the park. As we exited, we started to walk down this pathway, where there was this guy walking his dog. Not just 1 dog, but 4 dogs, and they weren't just any dogs, they were pitbulls. The guy did not have control of the dogs, and they broke lose. I started to run, but the dogs were attacking me ferociously, my hand was badly bleeding, and one made a small cut on my throat, I was lucky. I started to kick and punch some of the 3, and I noticed there was a car with its trunk open. So i ran towards the trunk, and when I got there, one of the pitbulls jumped into the trunk, so I quickly closed the trunk door.

After that I continued to run down the path, with the other pitbulls chasing me from behind. I continued to run for my dear life till I found this little store and went in. As soon as i got in, there was this guy behind me who worked with animal control, and had all 3 of the pitbulls inside a bag. I felt relieved, but my hand was still very bloody, hurt like a mofo. I was relieved that it was all over, but I lost my girl; ( Couldn't find her, but o well plenty of others out there. I decided to walk back to the park, where I remembered about the other pitbull that was stuck in the car trunk. I was a bit scared thinking, what if the pitbull was able to escape? I went back and told the animal control guy, but he didn't really seem to care. Said he would check it out but whatever.

Weird how this day was turning to be great, then it went all downhill. From one moment I was about to score, then the next my hand was bleeding ferociously and I was running for my dear life. [expletive] Pitbulls. I wonder whatever happened to that girl from texas.

  • 2 weeks later...

I got accepted onto the school newspaper as the sports columnist for next year.

Two more finals to go and freshman year is over.

I plan on going to a few Yankee games this summer. I already have tickets for Mets-Yankees this Friday. My Yankee-fever is higher than it's ever been. The idea of not winning a World Series is so distant because all that's in my mind is last year's amazing run.

The idea of the Nets making the playoffs is also so distant. There's a significant difference in how I've handled the Yankees and Nets seasons lately. I feel like the fact that the Nets' season may hold real excitement is something that's being introduced to me for the first time.

I just signed up to play in a Sunday baseball league through September. I'm not sure how it's going to go, as I haven't played baseball regularly since I left Rutgers in 2005... But, it should be fun regardless.

I'll likely post weekly updates after the games in here, win lose or draw. Or Golden Sombrero

So work sucks but I only have to be there until early September so whatever. Anyway on to some music. First I would like to thank xx. for recommending Memory Tapes. The album is awesome, and that is without smoking a j. All my friend smoke so I will def pass it on to them; a must listen for everyone reading this.

Another thing is I finally got one of the album I needed to check out this year in Versaemerge's Fixed at Zero and it is definitely very good. If i had to tell you what they are like, I have to use the Paramore comparison but it might be unfair, to Versaemerge. VE is less pop punk and is stronger technically. The other reason they are compared to Paramore is that it is headed by a female backed by an all male band. Check it out no matter what type of music you listen to. I could go on but I'm too lazy.

That is all for now, it seems like everyone I know saw Pavement, Band of Horses and Broken Social Scene tonight. Not my type of stuff but whatever. Good night OTR.
