Yeah man exactly. I don't usually sweat as much as a lot of people but I was sweating a lot tonight. It was crazy. I actually shot pretty well though, lol.

Funny you say because my boy (who has some sort of speaking/learning disorder) was like "it's a like a salon out here" and I was like "whaa?" and goes "like a sweat room" and I go "sauna?" and he's like "yeah yeah that's it" it was terrible

I don't know how you guys can handle the humidity. Every time I go to visit friends in Fresno during the summer, I feel like killing myself. I'll take 120 degree temps and the dry heat of the desert over the humidity.

Having spent an extended period of time in both, I couldn't agree more. I can't stand it.

Yeah, I hate that. I'm playing basketball tonight but I can't be bothered putting in contacts cause they keep irritating me and eventually falling out before the game starts.

No.. no joke. If it were up to me, I'd move to Houston as soon as I'm finished with school.

Everything seems to be a struggle lately. I had to switch to another primary doctor, mainly due to my diabetes and HBP, and this guy flipped out. He put me on three different BP meds (was already on two). My BP was 180/110 in the office, but it usually runs lower (still high, but the norm for me would be 140/90). The nurse in there knows I have white coat syndrome (BP rises in the office, no matter what). He ended up giving me two different pills while I sat in the office, and two hours after I got home, my BP reading was 97/64. Felt like I was dead...pulse was down to 61.

He's freaking out because I have a lot of sodium in my diet, I am very aggressive playing basketball, and I work out, all of which cause my blood pressure to go up. I eat a lot, and I'm not a vegetarian, so obviously, I'm going to have plates filled with sodium. Also, I'm not going to stop playing ball or working out.

I'm going to take a step back and consider restructuring a high protein, low sodium, low fat diet. It's just hell because I really don't have the money to spend on 30 days of healthy food each month, when most of that food has gone up in price. Eating healthy isn't too bad, but paying for it leaves your wallet empty.

Plus, I'm going to have to cook much more for lunch. I don't mind cooking dinners (my girl and I take turns), but I try to avoid cooking a complicated lunch. Now, I'll have to consider it. Cold cuts are high in sodium, so 2-3 quick sandwiches won't do it for me anymore. Same with canned food.

Just a hassle. I gotta see this doctor every two weeks now, for at least the next three months. He also wants blood drawn every three months. Ugh. Ridiculous.

Well, I usually play with contacts in but something has happened to my right eye. I just got contacts 3 weeks ago, and I've been wearing them everyday since (probably should've rested my eyes a day or two, lol)...But playing in glasses doesn't really even matter for me. I play the same pretty much.

Damn man sorry to hear all this. I would've thought working out/playing basketball would be good to lower your BP? Hmm.
