The Regime
Heat president Pat Riley is confident that superstar Dwyane Wade will re-sign with the team as a free agent this summer. "We feel very strongly that Dwyane Wade is going to be back with the Heat," Riley told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "We feel very comfortable that Dwyane feels very comfortable in a city that's embraced him, that he likes. "We feel very confident that we're going to be able to build this team back. And we put ourselves in position to do that." Miami could have made a trade prior to Thursday's deadline, but they opted to stick with their current roster and preserve the ability to sign another elite player in addition to Wade this summer. Poe
Meh.. this isn't really news to me. Riley has said for a while that he's confident with Wade and the Heat's future.
Jenneral
Out of the main three (LeBron, Wade, and Bosh) I think Wade has the greatest chance of staying put. I still think there's a possibility of him leaving though. Are there any teams that could somehow land both Wade and LeBron?
Flash
I truly believe that Wade and LeBron will stay. Each of them has something great going for them in their respective city. Wade's got a chance to bring in another max contract type player along with a budding offensive force in Beasley and Bron has his thing going on in Cleveland. Bosh on the other hand, unless he's content with being the undoubted number one guy on a team that won't be better than a 4th seed, should leave.
