The Goods
Celtics coach Doc Rivers is still hoping that the team will re-sign Leon Powe, but will support whatever decision president Danny Ainge makes. Boston decided not to tender Powe a qualifying offer as they wait to see how he recovers from reconstructive knee surgery. "We want him back, but he needs to get healthy," Rivers said. "He's one of the favorites that I've coached, and I don't say that often. When he's done rehabbing, he can come back and play for us." http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60375/20090706/rivers_is_fine_with_ainges_call_on_powe/
