Dr. Feelgood
Good ban. What if he slips up and chokes or straw lodges down his throat. Dont need someone dieing on an nba court in front of an audience. Get that [expletive] out of here Caron. He's been doing it his entire NBA career though and has never had a problem. Warren2ThaG
Didn't Stevenson used to play with those toothpick pointy flossers?
mav4life
Then might as well ban the use of those bands lebron plays with. Someones finger could get stuck in there and brake or something. Idk, it does pose a health hazard, but you cannot be banned from chewing something. Gum is equally as dangerous
Guest Need4Sheed
Na gum is a lot smaller, softer, and not toxic.

AboveLegit
lol @ thinking it is because of the team that he plays on. you guys are probably going to make more of a big deal about than he is.I'm not making a big deal out of it, but I'm strongly against this. and lmao at anyone who thinks Dallas aren't contenders. Good joke.
Cleveland's Finest
I was watching First Take on ESPN and of course Skip Bayless defends the NBA banning this.
kingfish
Hes right for defending it. Caron has no bussiness doing this in an NBA game, im glad David Stern banned this.

If Stern banned arm sleeves, you'd be outside his office protesting (since Kobe does wear one)
kingfish
If Stern banned arm sleeves, you'd be outside his office protesting (since Kobe does wear one)Arm sleeves arent dangerous and cant potentially cause someone to die on an NBA court. So theres no reason to ban it.

Cleveland's Finest
Why don't they ban mouth guards because guys like Gerald Wallace chew them openly and the moment they're hit it could choke them.
Flash
Why don't they ban mouth guards because guys like Gerald Wallace chew them openly and the moment they're hit it could choke them. I think a mouth guard is a lot harder to choke on than a straw... If ESPN hadn't made a huge deal out of this he'd still get to do his straw thing. They said he does it during game action which is why the league probably took action.
