The Regime
Darren Collison has emerged as one of the best young pg's in the league, and if he keeps up he might overtake CP3. Now some of you might think that there is no way that Hornets would trade away their franchise player, but I think if they got a good enough offer they might just pull the trigger. What kind of offer would it take to make something like this happen? Any possible trade scenerios?
bigdog17k
It would have to be one hell of a deal...
BlueDevil
if there gonna get rid of a guy with Paul's skills at his age, they had better be getting quite a bit back, but I've found myself wondering the same question so who knows. Definitely not enough room for both of them though. Edited February 27, 2010 by BlueDevil
Sun Tzu
I'd like to see where Collison ends up before they trade CP3 though. He may have the potential to be as good if not better than Paul (highly unlikely IMO) but it doesn't mean he will fulfil his potential. But they could get a lot out of trading Paul, I just think it could be a huge risk.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 27, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted February 27, 2010 There could be more interest in Collison this off-season, since he's so cheap for such a good talent. The Hornets could explore that and try to bring in an all-star that's not exactly fitting in with his team.
