Built Ford Tough
Now that we have seen the Raptors play for basically 3 quarters of the season and have been able to get a fairly solid idea of what kind of players the Raptors acquired over the summer, what would you say was the best move that Colangelo made during the summer? During the summer all of the hype was about the Hedo Turkoglu acquisition but with his lackluster play for te majority of the season, a lot of people have looked to other moves such as the signing of Jarrett Jack or trading Carlos Delfino and Roko Ukic for Amir Johnson and Sonny Weems as the best move of the summer. What do you think was the best move that Colangelo made in the summer? List of options are in the poll (left out drafting DeRozan as I wanted to keep this strictly free agency/trade related). Owner Real Deal Posted February 28, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted February 28, 2010 I'm taking the Jack signing. His impact on the team has been huge, in my opinion. It gave the Raptors the option to put Calderon on the bench. Toronto is 22-13 with Jack starting over Calderon, 9-13 with Jose in the five. I know it's not fully telling the story, but for me, that's enough.
Check my Stats
Jack was the best and most surprising signing, who knew he would be out starting PG at this point? He is a lot better shooter than I thought, he is just a really solid player.
The Artesticle
Definitely signing Jarrett Jack. Trading for Hedo was the worst move.
Newman
Definitely signing Jack. He give the Raptors a safe option when Calderon isn't playing well.
Cleveland's Finest
Jack. When I see him play against the Cavs, he can score at will sometimes. He's such a playmaker, which is pretty unexpected. Depending on how Hedo does on the playoffs, he could be the major deal in the end.
