Guest Need4Sheed
All these Philly kids going there next year for BBall. ========================================= 1. H.J. Gaskins, 5-9, G, Friends Central, Boston. He plays a strong combo guard. 2. DJ Irving, 5-11, G, Archbishop Carroll, Boston. The savvy and quick-footed point guard averaged 14.7 points, 3.2 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game as a junior. He earned first-team all-Catholic League Blue Division honors as a junior. As a sophomore, he was a third-team pick. 3. Anthony Mayo, 6-8, F-C, Roman Catholic, Boston. BU was the only scholarship offer for Mayo, who rarely received extended playing time as a junior. But Marist, Quinnipiac, St. Francis (Pa.) and Loyola (Ill.) had promised to keep tabs during the upcoming season. "I'm a late bloomer," Mayo said. "I never saw this coming. But when my coaches kept telling me to work hard and kept saying, 'You have potential,' I did that."4. Dominic Morris, 6-7, F, Friends' Central, Boston. One of several Division I recruits for coach Jason Polykoff, Morris averaged about 12 points and eight rebounds per game as a junior. Morris will be joined at Boston University by classmates Travis Robinson, a 6-4 guard, and H.J. Gaskins, a 5-9 point guard. 5. Travis Robinson, 6-4, G, Friends' Central, Boston. He was an all-Inter-Ac League selection as a sophomore at Penn Charter.6. Mike Terry, G, North Catholic, Boston. He also considered University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and received an offer from St. Bonaventure. St. Francis (Pa.), Quinnipiac and Robert Morris also showed interest.
