JYD
I bought a HP Pavillion dv4 laptop windows 7 64-bit about two months ago from Best Buy. Overall I love it and no problems up to this point. All of a sudden, when I put a blank CD-R disc into the tray and attempt to burn a CD from iTunes, it no longer recognizes that there is a disc in the disc tray. I've tried different blank CD's and it just doesn't recognize. It says to put a blank disc in the tray, and then it loads for about a minute trying to find it, and then it comes back with nothing, as if I never put anything in the tray. If anyone could please help, it'd be great.
ChosenOne
Go back to best buy and get a brand new one, after saving all your files first on a memory stick.

ChosenOne
im assuming this is a joke? lol... lol sorta i guess.... You still should have insurance on the computer, best buy gives you 3 months I believe. If your burner has stopped burning then it is a mechanical problem, therfore no matter what anyone says unless you know how to open up a computer and fix it you have no other option other than going back to return it.
