Yi to Miss Four-Game Trip

Yi Jianlian did not accompany the Nets on their four-game trip that begins tomorrow in Memphis because of the high ankle sprain he suffered last night against the Knicks.

The Nets are saying he’s out indefinitely - no timetable - and because it’s a high ankle sprain you have wonder if we’ll see him before April or again this season. He said it’s not that bad, which players always say. But he couldn’t put pressure on it and was in a very long boot when he left the Garden.

Kiki Vandeweghe started Chris Douglas-Roberts in the second half with Yi out, but he probably can’t go small against the Grizzlies tomorrow with their frontline of Rudy Gay, Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol.

Roids make you more injury prone. True story.

Stupid posts make your penis smaller. True story.

He's a solid player but very inconsistent and has been struggling lately, I think this 4 day break would be good for him since our bench hasn't been doing so bad, Williams, Humphries and Hayes can replace him

Yeah, Kiki said a couple weeks ago that he wasn't attacking the basket like he did for a period of time because of back and shoulder pain. If he can come back and be the amazing Yi we saw for a while, it will be another great addition to some of the other improvements shown from the Nets roster as of late.

Are you doubting that he's on roids? When he was on the Bucks he was a little twig that could easily be pushed around by anyone in the league. Now look at him, he's huge.

You can't be serious. I forgot that taking steroids is the only option of gaining muscle, there is no way he actually went to the gym everyday and had a good diet. No way.

Unless his work ethic took a complete 360 from when he was in Milwaukee, then no. He didn't get that way at the gym. Plus, no one really knows how old the guy is. Maybe age is also a contributing factor to all these injuries?

I'm convinced, you're right. Steroids is the only option here. Its cool that the NBA doesnt test anyone either and lets everyone takes steroids because you know they wont get caught and no one works out anymore either.
