Guest N4S
The Detroit Pistons are no longer considering Avery Johnson for their head-coaching position after the two sides could not come to terms on a contract, an NBA source with knowledge of the talks said Tuesday morning. Cleveland Cavaliers assistant John Kuester is now the Pistons’ likely choice, but Boston Celtics assistant Tom Thibodeau remains under consideration. A decision could come Tuesday. source
Dash
Damn...oh well, both Kuester and Thibodeau would make excellent coaches.
JWaLL
Johnson would have been perfect for Detroit. He's a good disciplinary coach. Too bad they'll have to settle for an assistant coach from another team now.
