I know the Oscars > MTV that is a given. For example, go ask your parents if they know who Kanye West and Taylor Swift are. Then go ask them if they ever heard of these people. She was supposed to be on the stage with him, but she was slower to reach the mic. It was rude of her to interrupt his speech, but I'm pretty sure it was her award as well.
