La Bomba
Wow, another corner? Hate this pick considering how badly we need another DT or a pass rusher to take Charles Grant's spot.
Cobb
As for the Falcons pick, it's pretty solid. Good to see that he seems excited: http://twitter.com/SeanWSpoon12 Not sure whether or not he'll start right away but he'll probably start sometime during the season. As for our next pick, we've got to get a DE.

Brian Cushing and Clay Matthews were just as big as Mays was, except they can actually play football. Dude's an OLB all the way.

Flash
Do you ever stop? Making sense? Why waste a first on a guy like Mays who has Roy Williams written all over him? By your logic, Al Davis is the best drafter of all time.

And, as one NFL.com scout said about Mike Iupati: "He is one of the more powerful blockers in the draft and once he gets his hands on opponents it’s pretty much all over." Excellent pickup there but why trade up 2 spots to get him? Miami wasn't gonna take him. I like the Iupati pick as well.

Dude's an OLB all the way.Lol Taylor Mays is going to be an excellent Safety in the NFL, what does it prove, it proves the dude is a freak of nature. Mays only problem is he has to learn a system lmao he's going to a probowler you're just a hater, lol how bout Colt McCoy? http://behindblondiepark.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/3293708869_8a7e4aa7dc.jpg THAT..............JUST.................HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ChosenOne
I loved us moving up and picking up Ryan Mathews, eveyone one was saying that he would drop to us very late in the draft but I was doubting that great move by us. What I loved even more was Jimmy Clausen not getting picked in the first round, the 49ers had two chances to take him and skipped him for offensive linemen both times great move by them. Flash
SD gave up A LOT to get Matthews, but I agree its a nice pickup for you guys. Lol Taylor Mays is going to be an excellent Safety in the NFL, what does it prove, it proves the dude is a freak of nature. Mays only problem is he has to learn a system lmao he's going to a probowler you're just a hater, lol how bout Colt McCoy? Taylor Mays can't cover. In his college career he accumulated a grand total of 5 INT's and forced 1 fumble for being such a big hitter. He's not the playmaker that he's made out to be. He gets lost in coverage and will get abused by NFL TE's. He's a second rounder at best IMO and that's why you saw teams pass on him in round 1. Measureables are great, but Mays needs to learn how to cover before you crown him.

Abused by tight ends? WTF?! He's bigger and faster than most of the TE's in the league you are just making up things now. Give him a good coach and he;s got probowl written all over him. He played for Pete Carroll! What else do you want in terms of coaching at the college level? Champ Bailey never gets thrown to because he can cover guys unlike Mays. Mays has NO hips at all and his cover/ball skills absolutely suck. He's stiff in coverage. You have to paly zone with him because if you stick him in man he's going to get roasted like Golden Tate did to him in college. He got away with poor tackling fundamentals in college and he needs to work on them if he wants to be a successful NFL safety.

There's no use in arguing with you, you obviously read something on ESPN and refuse to doubt it. That's all you got to come back with? Pete Carroll is in the NFL for a reason, because the guy can flat out coach. There's no use in arguing with me because you can't prove that Mays will be a pro bowler with anything besides look at his 6-pack or his biceps. That doesn't mean anything in the NFL if you can't cover for [expletive].

Flash
You understand that you can't prove he won't be either, right? Obviously he hasn't played an NFL game yet, but you're crowning a guy because of his physique rather than his play on the field. He looked terrible during the senior bowl practices and all throughout his senior year. His future is at OLB. That is the position where he can play in either a 3-4 or a 4-3 because of his size and athleticism. He needs to work on his tackling fundamentals though like I stated above if he wants to be succesful.
Flash
I'm coming with actual thoughts on the guys game and legit concerns in terms of how he plays and all I get it you don't know how he'll turn out or he's a beast and has pro-bowler written all over him because he's super jacked. Amateur scouting reports are not the be-all for NFL prospects.

Tell me, what about his game makes you think he'll be a pro-bowl caliber safety?
