The Goods
Source: Odom, Lakers agree on deal Lamar Odom will return to the Los Angeles Lakers, according to an NBA source. Odom will sign a four-year contract, with the fourth year at the Lakers' option. One source with knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com the four-year deal is worth $33 million if the Lakers exercise the final year of the contract. Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak declined comment. Odom's agent, Jeff Schwartz, did not return a message immediately. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4367213

AboveLegit
I have mixed emotions about this. I hate the Lakers to death, so I don't want them resigning Odom and getting stronger, but on the other hand I'm glad he didn't go to Miami, which means the Wizards have a fighting chance at getting the fourth/fifth seed in the East. The Artesticle
Brandon, you think Elonu will make the roster? I've also heard Sun Yue may get cut soon, as his contract is not guaranteed. He sucks.

SRV
Wow, all that and he ends up with the Lakers again. He should have just accepted the first deal instead of making a month long drama story.
Cleveland's Finest
Finally. C - Bynum/Elonu/MbengaPF - Gasol/Odom/PowellSF - Artest/Walton/MorrisonSG - Kobe/Brown/VujacicPG - Fisher/Farmar/Yue We're good to go. I doubt Elonu surpasses Mbenga...and how is Shannon Brown a shooting guard? He did play it once but he succeeded at PG all last year and his height at that position won't help. The Artesticle
Shannon Brown is a combo guard. He mainly played the point for us last year, but he can play SG too. He did with the Bobcats. Anyways, Delonte West played SG for the Cavs and he's 1 inch shorter.

He did play it once but he succeeded at PG all last year and his height at that position won't help.I have a feeling that Elonu plays more minutes than Mbenga near the end of the season, but who knows. Phil doesn't play rookies as much, even if they show they are even the slightest big better than their teammate. And Brown has played the two in Lakerland. Seeing how Vujacic completely sucks now, I wouldn't be surprised to see him play more of it. But, in any case, I also wouldn't be surprised to see Vujacic contribute more than Farmar this season, and Shannon gets the nod over Jordan quite a bit. The Artesticle
Brandon, what do you see in Elonu? I thought he was just training camp material. He was the 59th pick of the draft, and I haven't heard much of him in summer league.

He was the 59th pick of the draft, and I haven't heard much of him in summer league. If he just works hard, he can be a pretty decent backup center in the NBA. Ford thinks he would've been a lottery pick next year if he would've stayed in college. Seeing the guy play at A&M, it really makes me wonder if Ford could be right. But if he doesn't work hard, he'll be a complete waste.

Sun Tzu
So happy for the Lakers, back to back championships. Even though they aren't my favourite team they are my seconds favourite team so I guess I have to be happy.
