magicbalala245
Anybody know if this is the the real Kobe Bryant from Twitter. Cause LA Times blog that blogs about Lakers used this in there blog about the Lamar Odom thing Lamar Odom may be unsigned as we speak (although according to Kobe Bryant's Tweets, we may not be "speaking" much longer) And if it's Kobe real Twitter here is what he said Edited July 20, 2009 by magicbalala245
magicbalala245
That Kobe Twitter is fake according to LA Times I was informed by someone from Team Kobe that the Twitter account I had cited in the previous post (KobeBBryant) is in fact NOT Kobe's, but an impostor. KB24.com does have a Twitter feed, so when I saw the Twitter account listed Kobe's official site and the Tweets didn't seem outrageous or strange, I figured they were legit. That is not the case. I apologize for the misinformation and any confusion. If you're following that account, please don't take it as "Kobe's words."
Mike Hawk
Multiple reports indicate that the Miami Heat are trying to acquire Lamar Odom and trade for Carlos Boozer. If Pat Riley can pull that off, Miami would have a super starting lineup of Mario Chalmers, Dwyane Wade, Odom, Boozer and Jermaine O'Neal. The Heat would instantly become title contenders and have one of the best starting fives in the league. http://www.idahostatesman.com/sports/story/838976.html Ouch Odom. That would make sense I am just wondering how they are gonna match the remainder of Boozers Salary?

Owner Real Deal Posted July 20, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 Utah is screwing over the Heat. They are asking for too much in a sign-and-trade for Boozer, and that's not allowing Miami to give anything for Odom, who may also want a sign-and-trade (to give him $10 million a year). I just can't see Odom taking the MLE. Doesn't matter the contract length. If he's going to Miami, and I wouldn't be surprised if he did, it'll be through a sign-and-trade. magicbalala245
Lamar Odom’s fake holdout was all fun & games until Odom’s incompetent agent, Jeff Schwartz, decided to overplay his cards. With his several lame attempts to squeeze a few more shekels out of O.D.B. (Ol’ Doc Buss), Schwartz has succeeded in alienating Odom from the Owner and the fans. But not apparently Odom’s teammates.Longtime AVP announcer Chris “Geeter” McGee reported over the weekend on his Twitter that Luke Walton was at the AVP Manhattan Beach tournament, and that the L.A. Laker wasn’t shy about clarifying Odom’s status with the team. From McGee’s Twitter on Saturday:Luke Walton was asked over 300 times today @AVP what up with Lamar, his response was always “LO will be a Laker trust me” hope u right kidWalton’s should’ve added, “if he’s lucky.”After turning down the Lakers now-withdrawn offer of $10M per for three years or $9M per for four seasons, and blowing off the Lakers recent DVD launch party* (which sources tell me upset Buss), Odom will be fortunate if O.D.B. revisits his more-than-charitable offer.I’m inclined to think that Buss eventually will break down and bring Odom back. (No thanks to Schwartz.) Unlike Shaq, who Buss traded to the Heat in part because of a nasty verbal slight in Hawaii, Odom has the full support of his teammates. And remember, Odom’s the only one on the team who speaks Artest.* He was two hours late Edited July 20, 2009 by magicbalala245

Owner Real Deal Posted July 21, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted July 21, 2009 AM830 Roger Lodge says his sources say Lamar met with Dr. Buss in a room and will stay with the Lakers for 4 years/$40Mvia someone's Twitter. And from another member at TLN... John Ireland was on ESPN Radio saying last night that he spoke to people close in the organization, and he said he left having a good feeling that Lamar will end up staying a Laker.I'm pretty sure he's staying, if we're really going to give him a 4/40. The Goods
Things looking up for Lamar Odom and the Lakers Some pleasant news this morning from Brian Kamenetzky of the L.A. Times Lakers Blog. According to BK, it appears as if Lamar Odom will more than likely be a member of the Los Angeles Lakers once again. The link also has a picture of possibly the cutest kitten in the world for absolutely no reason, so he has to be telling the truth. No official word from the Odom camp, but a deal seems to be imminent. Here's what BK had to say: Nobody I spoke with [at the Las Vegas Summer League], from coaches to agents to other members of the media, expects Odom to leave the Lakers... Odom doesn't have a substantially better offer to which he can turn, and while Dr. Buss is a tough, shrewd businessman, he's also reasonable enough to see that refusing to re-open negotiations on similar terms amounts to cutting off his nose to spite his face. Good news for Laker fans, who have already seen the departure of Trevor Ariza, one of the key components to the Lakers championship run of 2009. With Ron Artest being a wild card, it would be nice to have (I can't believe I'm saying this) the consistency of Lamar Odom back in the lineup if the Lakers want to repeat. http://www.examiner.com/x-955-Los-Angeles-Lakers-Examiner~y2009m7d21-Things-looking-up-for-Lamar-Odom-and-the-Lakers?cid=exrss-Los-Angeles-Lakers-Examiner Edit: 100th post in Lakers Section Edited July 21, 2009 by The Goods
GamerGuy
Well, its good to see that Lamar is probably going to come back. He's inconsistent as hell, but he's a good glue guy in the locker room.

magicbalala245
For now, according to a source, the Blazers do not have any interest in Lakers free agent forward Lamar Odom, whose negotiations with Los Angeles on a new contract have stalled. magicbalala245
It seemed like a clever gimmick when Lakers guard Derek Fisher, actor David Arquette and fast-food icon Ronald McDonald heaved 33-foot shots from a third-story balcony at L.A. Live on Tuesday to publicize the Lakers 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament to be held Aug. 14-16 and benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California. Under difficult circumstances, Fisher gave it his all. He tried flinging. He tried finessing. He shot from a running start. He shot from a standing start. Though known for his clutch long-range shooting, he couldn't get anything to fall and had to watch avid Lakers fan Arquette make the only shot while TV cameras were rolling. In an ideal world, Lamar Odom would have come off the bench to hit a big shot and restore the Lakers' supremacy, as he did so often during their last title run. "We want him back badly," Fisher said, "and I hope we can accomplish that in the next couple days."
magicbalala245
Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant is optimistic the NBA champions will re-sign key free agent Lamar Odom. "I'm optimistic that he'll be back," Bryant said Wednesday at a news conference in Singapore as part of a six-country Asian tour. "He makes us a much, much stronger team." Negotiations broke down last week as the Lakers retracted a contract offer to Odom. The Miami Heat are also wooing the 6-foot-10 forward. Odom played a key role off the bench in the Lakers' championship run. He averaged 12.3 points and 9.1 rebounds during the playoffs. Bryant said forward Ron Artest, who signed as a free agent with the Lakers earlier this month, will help bolster the team's chances to repeat as champions. Owner Real Deal Posted July 22, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted July 22, 2009 But I'm quoting the News Paper though? It doesn't matter. The LA Times wants people to read their articles using their newspaper OR their website, mainly because they make ad money off the visits they get. Well, there's no reason to even click that link and visit their site if the entire article is posted here, and that's why we can get into trouble.
