Guest Need4Sheed
Barkley had interesting comments on Kobe Bryant's penchant for last-second shots. He said that some of Kobe Bryant's game-winners are lucky. What are you going to do when he hits a 20-foot fade-away jumper? Barkley said that the Raptors played good defense against Bryant earlier this week but he hit the game-winner any way. Barkley said that Bryant isn't in the conversation with Michael Jordan as the greatest ever. Barkley said that the Lakers "play with no sense of urgency" and only won the title because they had more talent then everyone else. Barkley said that Bryant's Lakers wouldn't have a chance against the great Bulls teams. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/danpatrick/blog/101521/index.html?eref=sihp

Owner Real Deal Posted March 11, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted March 11, 2010 Kobe's game-winners are lucky? So he hits 29-30 of them, and they are lucky? WTF is he talking about? I have always liked Charles as a player, one of my favorite players of all-time, but he's an idiot.
Cleveland's Finest
Why does anyone need to be in MJ's class? Kobe's in a class of his own and people need to stop reveling in the MJ era. It's a new era, Kobe's just as good, now move on.

Lkr
Charles sure knows what it takes to win titles and if you've ever watched Inside the NBA, you know how stupid Charles is, which is why I love him

Lemon
I don't understand how it's luck when it's happened so many times this season. Maybe he's biased because he played against Jordan himself and doesn't like the idea that someone else is that much better than him. I agree that this Lakers couldn't beat those Jordan's Bulls though.
Guest Jeff Colborn
With comments like these Barkley shows he has what it takes to be in office in Alabama. Kobes game winners are incredibly lucky and the percentage that he actually makes is laughable. Look at the game versus the Miami Heat? Luckiest shot I've ever seen. If you give Sasha Vujacic a chance at 100 game winners chances are he'll have a lot under his belt as well.

Be Like Mike
How far was Barkley's head up MJ's [expletive] when he said this. Barkley is gay for MJ so Im not surprised. John Wooden said a while back "Kobe is the greatest player he's ever seen."
YugoRocketsFan
Ive never taken anything Barkley says seriously, he said Mavs would beat Golden State, Houston would be last in West.
